I am currently on Ganfort eye drops once a day for NTG and have noticed recently that I have got very dark/black circles under my eyes. This is new for me having never had anything like this before. The area around my eyes also feels very sore/tender. Does anyone else suffer with this or have any tips for reducing this dark circles?
many thanks

yes I having been using Ganfort for many years and it does give u dark circles & longer eyelashes! Only thing I do for the dark circles is put a concealer on the dark circles which does help to conceal ! not sure of another remedy I am afraid .
I am recently diagnosed and using monopost drops, which have caused dark circles and longer darker thicker eyelashes. Concealer works for the dark skin but I do look a little strange as I only have glaucoma in one eye and the difference in my eyes is very noticeable. My eye was a little sore to start with but I’m now also using Theoloz duo eye drops for dry eyes and the soreness has stopped.
I’m the same as you, Ganfort makes my eyes sore, I have dark circles and my eyes look more deepset than before. I just use concealer ( rimmel is my favourite, I have tried quite a few ) which helps.
I'm on bimatoprost, which Ganfort contains and I have dark circles , longer eyelashes, and use concealer . I had a trabeculectomy in June on my right eye and no longer need to use drops in that eye. The skin round the eye is now lighter and eyelashes are getting sparseŕ ( you cant have everything!) It now looks quite different from my rather Gothic left eye which is still on the drops. I've never had soreness from the drops though.
I've been using these drops for over ten years and I also have the dark rings around my eyes. But I have no tenderness. Unfortunately I do not know of any cure other than to try and cover them up.
I’ve been using Ganfort for over a year now and I find a little Vaseline at night helps soothe my eyes and Simple Soothing Eye Balm for during the day under concealer.
I am on Lumigan (Bimatoprost) and definitely have a darker area under my eyes, and also my eyelids. I just use an eye cream to keep the under-eye area moisturized and then a concealer (currently using either Ilia which has less crap in it, or Haus Labs). Still looking for a good concealer with less bad stuff in it though. I use Ilia cream eye shadow on my lids.
