I found a serum for skin around the eyes that I like and I would like to buy it. But one of the active ingredients is caffeine.
So I am wondering, if used daily wouldn't that caffeine affect my eyes by raising eye pressure. As we know, caffeine should be avoided while having high eye pressure as taken internally, but what about it in a serum?
Many thanks

I looked into this and I found out that the caffeine does get absorbed into the skin. However, it appears to be unclear about the effect on eye pressure. Maybe someone knows more about the effect than I do. I guess if it concerns you, you can avoid the caffeine to be on the safe side. Also, your eye doctor knows your eye pressure situation, so he/she can advise more specifically for you. [I use retinol eye creams.]
