Loss of sense of smell

Has anyone lost their sense of smell after using the eye drops. For some time now I’ve wondered if the drops were the culprit.

I lost my sense of smell around the time I was diagnosed with glaucoma but as I also had a lot of sinus trouble at that stage of my life I didn't know which caused the loss of mu sense of smell.

This was over 35 years ago and while my sinus problem have cleared up (by moving to a a different part of the UK) I still have glaucoma and hardly any sense of smell. The big exception is I can smell gas well before my husband. I'm sure that means something but I don't know what 😀

There's no doubt it's inconvenient not being able to smell things, especially things like food, but on the whole, it hasn't really bothered me.

Thanks for your reply. I too can trace back to when diagnosed and using drops. Also years’ ago I suffered with sinus problems which seem to have cleared up, so similar to you. I have a sneaky suspicion it’s the drops.
