Does anyone suffer with the above with their gluacoma, my gluacoma is open Angle and I also have Cataracts in both eyes which need surgery but first I have to get my blepharitis uncontrol, I have brought a eye bag to heat in the microwave which is working well, are there other things people used like sprays, I have seen gels and lotions too just wondering if they are good if your away from home and without access to microwave?

Yes had it really bad you should bathe your eyes every day with hot flannels then wipe eye lashes with cotton buds dipped in soapy water only one way from inside to out side thenthrow away dont use same flannel for both eyes

I use ocusoft foam and organic cotton eyelid pad to first wipe top and bottom eyelids, then downwards on eyelashes, then gentle massage of the eye lid, morning and night. Eyedrops after cleaning, if I stop it flares up again. I bought a charcoal warming eye mask which charges with a usb as we travel away a lot, it’s very relaxing 20 mins usage when u need it, use with a usb battery charge back so not connected to mains! Just started Monopost drops at night, so not putting night time gel in after, so feel a bit sore at the mo.

Thank you, I brought an eye bag mask that goes in the microwave, my opthalmologist said not to use cotton buds because they could damage the eyes, I used eye wipes instead. I have been using the eye bag since my check up last Thursday twice a day, I have other medical problems and I am looking for something to take with me to hospital appointments 2 hours from home first one been tomorrow and it early morning, so heating the eye bag and then using it for 10 minutes will be time consuming and I am a carer for my mum so I will have to sorted her as well. Thanks for your suggestion have a good day.

I use Blephaclean wipes after using eye drops which may be available on prescription and can be purchased at an optician or chemist.
