Eye patch recommendations for 5yr old

The stick on eye patches provided by doctors are too sticky for my 5yr old son, they literally pull out hairs from his eyebrows and hurt his skin. I bought non contact alternative which is the material one that goes over his glasses but they allow him to peek and cheat! I tried taping them down but still no luck. Anyone has any ideas or recommendations? Thanks in advance

I don’t know if this would be suitable for you but when one of my daughters was given patches at about your son’s age it was suggested she wore the patch on her glasses, to avoid the eyebrow hair pulling, whilst watching a Disney film. This was a treat for her, she was totally absorbed in the film which lasted for the time she was to wear her patch.

Thank you for your reply and suggestion. I wish it was that easy however I've tried the one that goes over the glasses but my son keeps peaking by moving his glasses around or lifting his head to peak under!
