On BBC Radio 4 today (29.6.2022) "Just one Thing with Michael Moseley" was very interesting. It is only 15 minutes long.
It describes the various benefits to eyes, joints and mood by taking short breaks throughout the day. A few minutes every 1/2 hour or so if possible actually makes people more productive. It lowers cortisol levels and benefits eye health.
Going outside in the breaks is also beneficial .
The programme is available on the BBC website, or it is repeated on BBC4 at 8.45pm today.
After this programme tonight at 9 pm is a very informative programme "A thorough examination with Drs Chris and Xand " about the results to our health of eating ultra processed foods (most of the food eaten in the UK !)
Best wishes

Another thing you can do is the 20-20-20 routine. This is when, every 20 minutes, look away from the computer screen and look at something 20 metres away for 20 seconds.
Also remember to blink. When we concentrate we forget to blink. This can cause our eyes to feel dry or tired, so, although it sounds a silly thing, remember to blink.
