Sitting in opticians due to burst blood vessel . Girl hinted pressure is up and I am very nervous . Just needed to tell someone .

Hope things are OK ish now for you, I'm interested in the statement that the girl hinted pressure is up, did she take your pressures, was she an ophthalmic or Dispensing optician or just a member of sraff, if she was she shouldn't have said that to you

All ok and very relieved and yes I did give gentle feedback after as it doesn’t help the old blood pressure . The optician was interested too. X

Oh Sufitzy, I hope your burst blood vessel was not caused by anything serious. Mine burst one day because I had been sneezing,it was fine but was scary at the time. The female at Opticians should not have hinted at your eye pressure being up ,that's the last thing you need to hear without proper clarification . I hope you are okay. X

All ok . Pressure 19 so stable . Much relieved. Just a burst vessel . And yes I did mention to the optician that the girls comment was worrying and a little learning . I did it nicely though . It was so nice to know I could message this group it helped me calm myself . X

Thank goodness it ended well 😃 huge relief for you. It's easy to think the worst when it comes to our eyes. The girl was very unprofessional and caused you undue stress so hopefully the optician will make her realise you just can't behave that way. Yes it's good to know you have a group of people who really do understand exactly what you are going through . X
