I was reading a thread on here this morning which I can’t seem to find again regarding sleeping positions regarding eye pressures and Glaucoma. As I have Glaucoma on both eyes, this was interesting as I knew nothing about this and sleep on both sides! Could some give some more details before I go to my next hospital eye appointment next week.
Many thanks.

There has been alot of research into whether sleeping slightly elevated makes a difference to the eye pressure. Some research states it does whereas others say although there is a difference it is only slight. I think it is more of a personal preference for the patient themselves. Some recommend wearing protective eye masks too. There is so much research papers you can access. Just enter sleeping positions and glaucoma on the search bar and you will be able access the research that has been done. It would be a good idea to mention/discuss this at your upcoming appointment.
