A very interesting article, thank you.

Most clinicians I meet tell me that the pressure will vary a lot during 24 hrs, so that is why regularly studying the retina and visual fields is so important to detect long term changes.

The cost to the NHS is huge, as the 6 th largest share of funding for OPD attendance in England, but it does seem that some optometrists are becoming more skilled now and this may help the clinics.

It makes me feel that the more I can learn myself and help with research when possible, then this must be positive.

Happy it has helped some what..... IOP is a moving target all the time...... most people forget to keep breathing whilst having the eye pressure read (me included and I am not a newcomer for Eye testing)... Also Opthamologists are very touchy and clicky about being asked for eye pressure being read 3 times.... which should be norm but I haven't come across them except 1 ....so I have to ask every time... Good day from Thailand!
