Glaucoma and Severe Bleptharitis?

Hello Everyone - My 86 year old Mum has glaucoma and now has bleptharitis - are the 2 conditions linked?

I think she puts so many drops in her eyes that she's prone to infections and the bleptharitis makes her eyes very sore.

Would a Trabeculectomy help - or are there any other procedures out there?

Has anyone tried the Lipiflow treatment for Bleptharitis?

Any advice appreciated
