Just been diagnosed with fibromalgia and cronic fatigue syndrome. The neurologist has asked my Gp to refer me to a psychologist and that's about it.

Any help from fellow members would be greatfully appreciated.

Thanks

You should check out where your closest BowTech Bowen Therapist is located and make an appointment right away.

Thanks for replying, I'll do what you say. Just looked at the site in cornwall and it is holistic healing. I thought cronic fatigue syndrome and fibromyalgia was associated with a brain malfunction. Would this owen technique still work?

Ask for deluxetin it’s good helps relax mussels . I have suffered for years. Pain just radiates. Good luck

If your doctor refers you to a psychologist, then get a new doctor. They are basing that recommendation on an outdated study that has been thoroughly debunked. You have a physical illness not a psychological condition.

I agree. I think it is a rheumatologist he should be seeing?

He will then ref you to a pain clinic. . They talk to you and ex’s plain. Make you look at things differently. To me it was a waist of time. We know it’s we’re n tear . We know we have to keep moving. We know their is no cure. Go back to your GP get deluxetin it’s a mussel relaxin and help pain so helps sleep. Try not stressing . Good luck .

Thanks for the advice, it makes sense, I'll do what you suggested. I'm on venlafaxine as an antidepressant. Do you think that deluxetin is a better drug?
