Yes I have with both meditation and yoga. Yoga has been very useful and helpful for me and it does help you to feel grounded and really connect with yourself and the earth. It makes you feel more peaceful and calm and basically recentered so if you ever feel dissociative then grounding is a great thing to do. It also helps your mood most of the time. So I highly recommend grounding/earthing either with meditation or yoga or any other way that you find is effective. Let me know how it goes and hopefully that helps;)

My symptoms often feel electrical and I do occasionally feel the need to “ground” (even before I knew what it was). I do have a grounding mat, although it doesn’t seem to have any impact, but just a few minutes with bare feet on the ground does seem to do something. Not something I can put my finger on, so I suspect it’s more placebo or simply mood lifting. A short walk in the woods can have a similar effect. Either way, the effective can be slightly positive.

I noticed a week ago when I spent the week at the beach my symptoms of FND were milder with all the barefoot walking on the sand and in the water. I was on vacation with my little energetic kids so it wasn’t relaxing, but those barefoot beach moments were calming.
