Short Term Disability Interrupted.

I need help navigating through short/long term disability processes. My treatment has been interrupted several times because of the process of paperwork/healthcare insurance and the total lack of awareness in regards to FND.

Where can I find good resources and/or a case manager to help me navigate through the paperwork and keep my disability payments and treatments from being interrupted?

Hello, I'm assuming you're in the u.s. do to the Indy part of your name. That will definitely change the process. my best suggestion would be that you speak with the office of your neurologist or one of your service providers and let them know that you are having difficulty and need assistance. They will be the best to know what is available and who they usually deal with. I found the social worker at IU Methodist to be exceptionally helpful during my recent stay.

best of luck. Remember they make it difficult so that you give up and they don't have to pay.
