Dizzy laying on right side FND

Does anyone with FND experience dizziness when laying down on their right side?

Yes. In certain positions on the pillow but also when I am sitting and standing. I use a neck collar, but it's only a pagliative.

I have a brain injury and cannot lay on my back with my eyes open? I feel like I turn around and I amm facing the floor.

Yes I found out mine was vertigo since been put on medication it don't happen now

Yes I do and I feel like I’m sinking into the mattress and other times I feel like I’m floating. This disorder is very weird.

It sure is. I feel like it changes day to day also!

Yes, I have it on my left side, lying down. I mentioned it last week in an ENT appointment and the doctor said it was probably vertigo. He said there are tiny crystals in the inner ear that can become dislodged, so he did some special movements with my head (called Epley manoeuvres) to reposition them. It didn't help much to be honest, bit he did say it may need a couple of goes. So I'll make another appointment soon.
