Great News from Northern Ireland

As everyone knows there is little or no servicesw for Functional Neurological Disorder out there for sufferers and their carers. Wel I was at the first ever meeting of FND MATTERS NI yesterday for FND Awareness day here.

What a marvelous effort from the organisers and those who came from afar to attend. A very informative talk was given by Dr Nigel Lyttle Consultant Neuropsychologist from the Royal Victoria Hospital, Belfast. Also the introduction from the representitive of FND Action in the UK showed clearly the lack of and NECESSITY TO RAISE AWARENESS of our condition.

To Jeanette and Freda (and all those involved) I want to express my gratitude for the work you have put into initiating this group.

Thanks Again

David

Did you see the great awareness raising video by Derry FC? It has had around 7,000 views!

Sure did Mic, I sent it to all my kids etc to view. It was great to see the support there from the team. Better than meds.
