Hi - I've joined this group to try and see if there is anyone else out there with the same symptoms my friend has and what treatment they are/have had. He has swirling/movement sensations - eg feels like the mouth is shutting tight, chin is extending, swirling down to chest, swirling in head causing headaches.

Hi nope45

I dont know if its the same but...I have the swirling sensations like vertigo, muffled sounds in my ears,my lips will tingle, mouth go very dry and my legs go to jelly and then i go into a unconscious type sleep..i have been diagnosed with FND and a rare type of migrane..i am on Gabapentin and i take 3 3xdaily and this has helped so much, sometimes i still get the swirls but its no where near as much as i used to..xx
