Hi 123lisa, I too am new on here, like you, diagnosed with FND and still waiting for someone to help me. I'm too glad I found this website, it's saved my mental state deteriorate as I now know more from what others have wrote on here. Its great to know your not alone, any new symptoms if you write on here there is always someone with advice, or even ones you have someone can help you. I'd rather understand then keep being left to struggle on my own. I read on here as much as I can, until brain seizes up and can no longer understand what I'm reading or saying, then try next day. Lovely 😊 welcome to you and your no longer alone, nice to be part of FND family. Kindest regards Lisa-Anne. 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗

I am so glad you found this community of friends to support you in this diagnosis. You have heard from one of my favorite friends Lisa-anne who shared the essence of what we are all about. We are here for each other. The people in this community are the best and have helped people like me to better cope and understand.

This is an endless journey for many with severe ups and downs. Pain and weakness along with other chronic symptoms such as abnormal movements and sleep deprivation take so much out of daily living.

I notice it has been three years since your diagnosis. Yet, you are still awaiting treatment I assume for relief of symptoms. When and if you feel up to it, we invite you to share more about your experience and where things stand for you health wise today.

As we all have unique circumstances with this disease, we constantly seek to understand what may be happening to others. We are supportive only. Compassion and caring are the traits we admire most. Finding a way to alleviate our suffering and understand the cause are our goals.

We remain very sensitive to the burden of this disease on our loved ones and friends so we are stay vigilant in protecting our whole "families" which now includes you.

Let us know how we can help or be of service. That is why we are here. Welcome to you. You will never be alone in this fight.

With hope for a better day.

So, what kind of symptoms have you been battling? We all have variations on a theme. Perhaps one or another of us might have something more specific to offer to in the way of advice.

Just knowing you aren't the only one is incredibly helpful but it isn't enough.

Hello everyone sorry for the late replay I have been away.

My symptoms started with a severe earache dizziness and vacant episodes.

I ended up in hospital for a week and came out no better.

Since then the dizziness has continued, the earache along with memory loss emotional outbursts, mobility problems weight gain,

Severe pain in my arm inability to speak and general incompetence and been accidents prone are all thing's I live with.

However they are intermittent I can have 2 weeks of been totally normal (except been dizzy) then 2 weeks of been cabbage like !!

Im going to try hypnotherapy as im still waiting on any kind if treatment 2 years on !
