Is there a support site for Carers of loved ones with FND?
It would be nice to correlate with others as this is an isolating condition for both people involved and having contact would be very helpful especially for those who's families don't offer much help.

I totally agree. I'm not aware of anything particularly for carers as such at the moment, but I think that the support groups that FND Dimensions are creating may include carers. For my family, it has been a total change in lifestyle, and my husband has ended up doing everything that I used to do, as well as working full time. It would be good for him to meet others in a similar situation.

Like bluecat I don't know of anything but maybe a general carers support group might be easier? Alternatively maybe it could be you could start one?

the only carers support group i know myself covers all carers/ caregivers in the uk are the following carers .uk , career center sunderland.
they have sometimes been my life line as even though i have dissociative episodes im a carer to my partner how has bowel cancer and other health condition. but they are only a phone call away . hope this helps .
as they are there for all carers young and old .
