Finding a Dr.

We are looking for a Dr. In our area that will recognize FND and provide a diagnosis and treatment. My son-in-law has many of the symptoms that have been very debilitating. He is not able to work. His Dr. And neurologist treat his symptoms as a migraine and do not seem to want to acknowledge possible FND. We live in Kansas but would consider Dr.s in surrounding states...Missouri, Oklahoma, Nebraska, or Colorado.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Hi Alice. Can I suggest you go to our website, FNDHope.org where you will be able to join our Facebook Group. We can then put you in touch with other FNDers in Kansas and surrounding states. There are currently at least 2 members living in Kansas itself. We also are compiling a list of FND Aware doctors around the world and likely will be able to suggest someone within your reach.

You might also like to look through neurosymptoms.org written by a Consultant Neurologist in the UK whom specialises in FND. Best wishes.
