FND on BBC2 Hospital programme

Have any of you seen the latest programme on BBC2, episode 6, it looks at patients with FND. It is very interesting and thank fully a programme like this is finally highlighting this condition, it's complexities and bringing it to the forefront. Though there is still a long long way to go. You may find this helpful, would be good to get some feedback as to what others think.

Yes my husband and I watched this on Thursday - to hear and see similar symptoms and experiences to my own somehow validated things a bit more for me. Each day with this condition is different to the next and I feel encouraged that I am doing as well as I can under the circumstances!

I watched it with my husband, who doesn’t understand it, and it opened his eyes a little...

I asked my mum and my closest friends to watch it to...

I actually felt validated instead of a fake....

Still not enough for my husband though....

I have to wait 12 months for group therapy and my referral for a neuropsychologist hasn’t even been registered 🥺

But hey ho....
