Vemurafenib - PTEN loss

It seems that V has a good effect on Ocs who has the PTEN Loss mutation, inhibiting MAPK, thru CDK6.

Anybody tried that drug off label?

I haven't used it. But I've heard of it. Sounds promising. I think it only has preclinical data and mechanistic theories.

Personally, I'd try V rather than do the SOC treatments.

Actually, what I would do in a heartbeat is pBAT + olaparib. Works by itself and might even work better if you are PTEN. I get my olaparib from India now. I've been doing pBAT + olaparib for years. But I'm HSPC. I don't know if it'd work as well for CRPC. Plus it hasn't been trialed for anyone.
