Thanks for posting this info. I am interested since my cancer has a PTEN loss.

You are most welcome, brother....I didn't know that...glad to be of assistance...a bit smaller over here but the heavy handedness of being sanctioned for disputes with his Lordship is not an issue...

This sounds like a promising treatment, and they have got a lot further than I had expected. Of course, cancer being what it is, it is likely to just be another palliative therapy in metastatic cancer, but there is hope that it is low toxicity.

Still only a few percent chance it will work in men - mice aren't human and we care a lot more about adverse effects (but we do use aggressive chemotherapy)

CRISPR is allowing scientists to do some things once thought impossible....adding missing parts to DNA, slicing DNA where issues exist....It is incredible.... The Science is indeed coming...

Yes. It's still quite early days in some ways. My wife is working on prostate cancer genetics - looking for interesting patterns in about 150 full genome sequences of cancers.

Thank her for her work for us..... There are several new classes of drugs coming and vaccine trials continue...Ultimately, I believe vaccines are the real answer... we shall see....

All the best to you and the missus,
