ESA appeal adjourned today for more medical evidence from gp.

Hi after much panic and thinking of not going today to my ESA APPEAL.

the lady said they wanted to adjourn it to obtain up to date information and look into my medical records with the Gp. this will take four weeks but i will be continued to be paid basic rate ESA. I have been waiting for my appeal since i disagreed with decision of nil Points after incapacity to esa conversion In January. I had a medical and it made me sound like i was socialising and enjoying life a fat chance of that when i can't get out of bed most days. If only nil points meant i was not in pain that would be great then i could get on with my life and not feel bad all the time. She noted down my next three hospital appointments so i will be unavailable for them. Unfortunately i think i can only claim contribution based ESA for 1 year and as i have a partner who works i will not qualify for income based esa I now wonder why i paid my national insurance when i worked if sickness benefit is only for a year if married or living with someone.

never mind at least it was a relief today to go to appeal and be treated in such a understanding way.
