Does anyone else get upset when people comment on the number of tablets you take and then say YOU LOOK OK TO ME YOUR PULLING A FAST ONE.
i take them for some sort of relief so other people dont like it they dont have to watch me taking them

like many med cond we have it within we feel the pain and change but no one else can see or trully understand,apart from us ,just think of you !!
thank you all i never yhought about it these ways before i just like to get on with people but if thay cant see me for the pills then maybe i dont want to see them
Hi luvvie, if it helps i take so many tablets i rattle when i walk lol, if anybody comments which luckily they haven't i tell them they should read up on what problems, pains, change of life Fibromyalgia causes, then come back and talk to me to see if i take too many, until they understand they cant comment.
hi..kimm - love the answer.. i too ratle when i walk.. i take 26 tablets a day before i take any pain killers and anti inflamatories.... i tend not to tell people how many i take as i know they would not understand.
Hi my sister in law said she was worried for me as i shouldnt be taking all the tablets i take, She doesnt know why i needed them all.
I love her to bits and she trys hard to understand but she just doesnt get it.
If i didnt take them then i wouldnt be able to look after my kids, do the school run, just every normal thing really so she would have to help me more.
I have give up telling people when i change or add anymore tablets to my daily routine as i cant be bothered with any comments.

Hi Dobby. I take 55 pills a day and I couldn't give a toss what anyone thinks. Of course I would rather take them in the comfort of my own home but if I'm eating out I take them with my after dinner coffee and if people want to stare, I let them. I have to inject before meals too and I do it at the table. If I went to the loo to do it, that would mean my husband taking me in my wheelchair and that's far too much hassle.
yes me too i do still sometimes feel a bit embarrased if im out but then i think they dont have to live with the pain do i
they,i feel like thumping em but dont have the energy lol x
