with a large amount of people on here you may get someone that has them but I would not put it down to fibro and get to the doctor to have a look. Could be any number of things but worth getting checked if you have not already.

Been to doctors having a heart scan this week . Can fibro affect your heart ?

there are some studies that have shown some correlation but nothing direct. With a large amount of people diagnosed with fibro there are a number of things that people correlate but this does not equate to a link or any causation. If I asked how many people have broke their left leg on here I am sure I would get quite a few responses but this would not be relevant.

Hi there nice to meet you :) I have never heard of fibro effecting your heart to be honest and I've had it for 30+years. May I ask have you been diagnosed with Fibro long? I hope everything comes back ok with your scan 🤞

Thanks for the tip . i have had fibro for about 17 years ,but the last few years it has become increasingly difficult to do anything. I have 6 bulging disc in my back as well . Doc said he thinks it is linked to my low blood pressure and my fibro.

Hi, no one on here is medically qualified but I would be more inclined to think the black outs may be due to your BP I myself suffer from high BP but I do know having low BP can be just has bad has having high BP. But to be honest its the first time I have ever heard of blackouts due to Fibro.

Hi there, I have suggested two blackout/seizures since I have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia. I was hospitalised both times and even though I had a barrage of tests done and an answer was never found. They just said that everyone has slightly different types of fibromyalgia and they react differently from others.

I would definitely arrange to your see your GP as soon as possible as it may not be caused by fibromyalgia.

I hope you get on ok and if you wish to speak more then I'm more than happy to chat about anything.

Good luck

When your sugar levels fall you can black out.. how is your eating/diet, regular or scrappy due to busy days? May I ask how old you are and if you have any illnesses/

You definitely need heart tests, if you suddenly drop without warning then it can be caused by heart block which needs treating.

Blackouts can occur under a variety of conditions. The cause of blackout can be many. You need to keep a diary and report to a medical professional.

When you black out, have you just stood up from sitting or lying down? If so, it could be that your brain is being temporarily starved of oxygen from the abrupt change of position. I used to get it, it means standing up more slowly and holding onto something, stay by the chair or bed in case you feel dizzy.

If the blackout is coming at you out of the blue, or when you are out, you need to see the doctor fairly soon.

It can happen at any time, with no warning does not matter if I'm lying down. The last time I needed 5 staples in my head .

Please see your doctor as soon as possible. It is dangerous for you to go out unaccompanied in case you fall into the road.
