that sounds like an allergic reaction. I get a form of anaphylactic shock because my immune system is working so hard all the time it throws a wobbly and reacts to something it shouldnt do. Take photos if you cant get to the gp while it happens and show them. Watch it, if it is an allergic reaction it can be dangerous

Hot swelling isn't a Fibro symptom, so make sure this is thoroughly investigated. If your GP isn't convinced it's an allergic reaction to meds (how long has it been going on?) then you need more blood tests and possibly referrals. There are various conditions that could cause this as well as an allergic reaction, such as Rheumatoid Arthritis or Reflex sympathetic dystrophy syndrome/Complex Regional Pain Syndrome.

Hi

I get a feeling in my hands that is like they are swollen up, and I can't bend them properly. But when I had them scanned, they couldn't find any swelling, so it's really just a feeling.
