Hi smart36

I sincerely hope that you are feeling well today? I have not tried Pregabalin myself, but I wanted to wish you all the best of luck with this medication. I have pasted you a link to the NHS Choices pages about this medication.

nhs.uk/medicine-guides/page...

It is widely used for many issues including neuropathic pain, anxiety disorder, partial epilepsy and secondarily generalised partial epilepsy. So it is well worth a go?

All my hopes and dreams for you

Hi

I've been on pregablin for about 8 months now and have no side effects at all. Obviously everyone reacts differently . I would advise seeing your GP incase it is not related to your meds Hun x

Hi I have been on Pregablin for about four and a half years now. It actually helped my IBS and have found my belly pains much mores stable than they were. When I have accidentally missed a tablet I have known because the burning and electric shock type of pain has come back with a vengence. Initially I felt very drowsy and out of it but this slowly decreased over the weeks. Could I ask what dose you are on? I was started initially on a very low dose and this was increased gradually so I think that gave my body a good chance of more slowly getting used to it. Of course the symptoms you are having at the moment are classic fibro ones so it could be that you are having a bad flare.. Has this slowly come on or suddenly?. If it coincided within a few days of starting the tablets it would seem that they could be the cause. Hope these bad symptoms start to ease soonx

Oh no! I really think you should go back to your gp, especially if they not working and your feeling addicted! I've heard you can't just stop them so you really should go back to gp
