Hi there I am sorry you feel so terrible, how do you know your liver liver levels? what was your doctor checking for? is the pain on your right or left?

Have you been diagnosed? At this point, I think that the only one who can help you is your doctor. I was just diagnosed with fibro and RA last Nov., and I'm only 53. I am sad that you are so young and afflicted with what you have. See your doctor asap, and you'll be fine. I wish you the best.

Hello savylee! We are not doctors here but we give support to each other. I have the same question, how do you know your liver results? I'm really sorry that you feel so unwell. Hope to hear from you again.

Big hug!

Hello again, I had a look on the internet about alt being at 70. According to what I read, it is slightly elevated. I would advise to go back to your GP to find out more. If you have pain on your right side under your rib, it needs to be examined further. Are you happy with taking with your GP?

Take care and another big hug

hi savylee, I do not know anything about liver problems. I can only suggest you talk to your gp.

have you got fibromyalgia? sometimes there can be complications with a condition called costochondritis (sp?) which can affect your ribs. I must add that I am not medically trained so can only suggest things that you might run by your gp.

regards,

hamble.

Is the pain all around your ribs or just in the one place.

discuss an Mri of your ribs with a doctor, to check for /place costochondritis (may save a lot of time and other unnecessary tests), also I don't know why but liver results seem to be able to go wrong if you are under a lot of pressure / physical strain, again add it to the picture you are discussing with the doctor. hope things improve for you soon.

Hi savylee

I am so sorry to read that you are suffering in this way, and I genuinely hope that you can find some resolution and relief to these issues. As the others have already said, you really need to discuss this issue with your GP to try and get a diagnosis and some medications for whatever illnesses you have?

It cannot be easy for you, enduring all of this when you are so young? If you find that you cannot think of what to say to your GP as a result of lack of information or out of pain draining you, then it may be an idea to take somebody with you to the doctors and let them talk for you?

I want to wish you all the best of luck with this.

Oh dear savylee, it may help if you could ask your doctor for a referral to either a Rheumatologist and / or a Pain Management Clinic, as they will be able to give you the 'Tender Point Tests' for Fibro? I have pasted you a link below form our mother site, that explains about the testing:
