Hi, how long has anybody waited for DLA appeal. It has been six months now,and everytime i ring up,get told something different.
Mine took just over six months for the lowest rate.

Hi I waited 13 months!! I got low rate care 20 quid a wk they back dated it, and then said it was only for 15 months so basically only got it for 2 month when it ran out I just.could not be bothered to go through it all again.x

It is a nightmare isnt it? It is all such a mess since they started changing everything. I received a letter stating it could be 52 weeks before my appeal gets to tribunal!! They are spending more money trying to supposedly save money than if they had just left well alone. Where is the common sense? I fear it is greatly lacking in this new government. Frightening. Good luck with yours, hope it doesnt take as long as I fear mine is going to. I suppose it depends on where you live.xx
Gosh, a year is unbelievable. I was told 12-15 weeks. Then on ringing after 15 weeks, was told 23 weeks. Rang again & have been told 6 months or more. I agree with you ,there is no common sense. In the meantime we are suffering. Thanks a lot & Good luck when the tribunal eventually gets to you

mine took nearly months. then I didn't need to go into the court I was just given a letter saying my appeal was allowed and Id got high rate mobility and low rate care. still waiting for the money though

Hi it not the decision that counts as the tribunal can't make any side pay whether its dla or money we own its good to get a win but payments will take just as long to get as took to go to tribunal xx keep pushing though this goverment is rubbish and picks ob the wrong people sadly x
