Boobs not sore anymore 6dp3dt

Hi! I'm new to this community and I'm going crazy with the on and off symptoms I'm experiencing post embryo transfer. My boobs were sore after egg retrieval until transfer and few days after transfer. But, now on my 6 days post transfer. It feels normal now. It's not sore anymore. Does it mean the implantation was not a success? Has anyone experience the same?

Hi there,

One of the hardest things to avoid is falling into the trap of constantly monitoring and looking for signs that a transfer has been successful. The truth is that everyone is STARKLY different. Some people have multiple symptoms, some none, this could also be highly dependent on the amount of progesterone and other medications that you may be on and how you react to those hormones.

My best bit of advice here is doing the ultimate of distraction during this time and being kind to yourself. I cleaned every horrendous corner of my home - every cupboard of doom, went for a facial, went to an exhibition, walked every park I could think of so I could then think that my time wasn’t wasted asking Dr Google. I am having my little girl next week. 😊 Take care and look after yourself! X

Hi EjHack !! I really appreciate your response. This is my first IVF cycle and I’m getting anxious day by day. So glad to read your comment and advice. Needed this to calm my nerves. This TWW makes me crazy! LOL. Congratulations on your baby girl!! :)

Thank you! And honestly, if you look back on my posts, you can see I fell into the trap of whirling anxiety too! But sending you all the good vibes. The TWW was the most torturous place to be in the whole process, so be kind and don’t lambast yourself for doing what we all do (checking for symptoms that is!) xxx

Hi,

I had a fresh embryo transfer (day 2) and drove myself crazy googling symptoms and comparing to other people. But the truth is everyone is different. I had heavy boobs and like you they stopped feeling like that a week after embryo transfer so I was convinced it hadn’t worked, but on test day I got my BFP and am now 6 weeks pregnant 😊

Try not to overthink and relax as much as possible, everyone’s bodies are different.

Sending you lots of luck your way 🥰 xx
