is it ok to take canesflor pessaries during your period ? I have been taking them for the past week after a weeks course of metronidazole and really keen to get as many in as possible before my transfer in a couple of weeks 😁 xxx

hi, I was told by my consultant to stop while I had my period and then continue once finished. I was on the weekly dose by that point so only had to pause for one.

I second that, told not to take anything whilst on period. What you can do is work out how many days you will have left before transfer after your period. Take the suggested daily ones and then the remaining course although meant to be weekly spread out in the remaining days. That’s what I was told. Good luck x
