Christmas Wishes

I hope you all manage to find a small amount of joy in this Christmas but if you don’t, that’s find as well and I just hope you have the support you need to see you through it. This journey robs us of many things and I just want to send my love and support to anyone who needs it at this difficult time of year. I remember hoping last Christmas that this Christmas would be oh so different but it’s sadly not. Whilst that hurts, I can’t lose hope I know (but keep having to remind myself) that our happy ending is out there somewhere.

I know all too well the questions that come in bucket loads at this time of year and it feeling like you are constantly batting them away so please if you need to vent, come to this post and vent away! I try to tell myself that they come from a good place but it doesn’t make them any easier and feels like people are bloomin brilliant at being super insensitive! We’ve got this though and I’ve got you, always here if you need to talk 😊.

Thinking of you all and especially if you’re going through a particularly dark time at the minute 💗. You’re not alone xxx

Lovely message Katiee1. Perfectly encapsulates how I feel too. This time of year is hard as we reflect on the hurt of the last year whilst trying to keep hopeful for the next. Hope you have a nice holiday and manage to avoid the tricky questions too.

I was in a shop last week and another customer asked me when my baby was due… I’ve always carried weight on my tummy but unfortunately I’m certainly not pregnant. Some people cause a lot of hurt without meaning to.

I wouldn’t dream of saying anything like that even before being on this journey! Sorry you had to experience that, that just causes unecessary hurt! As if this isn’t sh*t enough.

I’m so lucky that the people around me are now super sensitive, I guess that is a perk of opening up!
