Thyroid levels high and connection to MCs. Any experience with similar situ?

hi all

I have had 4mcs (3 complete, 1 missed) and I met with a fertility consultant today.

My thyroid levels are leaning towards the upper levels and may be linked to the mcs are her initial thoughts.

I would like to check if anybody have had similar situations?

Which treatment you received?

Did you manage to have a successful pregnancy after treatment?

Any details will be much appreciated.

Thanks

I've had 2 missed miscarriages. My subclinical hypothyroidism was diagnosed early in my 2nd pregnancy which still ended in miscarriage unfortunately. My next round resulted in 0 eggs and I'm in my 4th round at the moment - going for my fresh transfer today. Haven't had a chance to see whether the thyroxine they started me on during my 2nd pregnancy has made a difference but 🤞

Hi Preety. Your thyroid for fertility treatments should be around 2.4 perhaps you need to be on thyroxine to sort your level out? Good luck! Diane

Tsh level stands for thyroid stimulating hormone. That's the number I'm referring to. Have you had that measured? The picture you uploaded isn't for tsh. They should also be measuring your T4 and free T3...

I would consider seeing a thyroid specialist as this could be the reason for your miscarriages. You may just need some medication to help bring your levels down to where they need to be. X

Hi. That thyroid reading should be below 34, so probably needs to be repeated. Diane

hi 3.4 or 34?

GP does not want to repeat my tests and it is impossible to get through the fertility consultant/nurse at the hospital ;(

Hi Preety. 3.4 is a different reading from the one you asked about before. You will just have to try and get hold of your clinic and see which thyroid rea\ding they are referring to. Diane
