IVF Question- starting Synarel during ovulation.

Hello! I’m a newbie here so thank you to anyone who can help I’ve just started my 5th round of IVF! Wish me luck!

I’ve just started the Synarel sprays but because I’ve been so bloated all week, I did an OPK and it has come up positive. Now I’m stressing that the Synarel will prevent this egg from being released, leaving me forever bloated and causing all sorts of havoc! Is this going to be a problem? Or am I being my usual IVF self and panicking over nothing!!?

Hi and welcome!

I think it would be a good idea to just double check with your clinic, to help put your mind at rest but it doesn't sound like it would be a problem. Try not to worry, I know it is far easier said than done, your clinic will do what is best for you 🙂
