Hi lovely people!

Random question - we recently had our first round of ivf and it appears it worked (happy but petrified at the same time). My otd was Friday and it was positive.

We of course followed the instructions from our clinic about abstaining from intimacy during the 2ww but when were you allowed/ given the go ahead to resume dancing 😉😂?

Thank you

Xx

Interesting every clinic gives different information. After my FET, I got a leaflet from the doctor that said intimacy during 2WW is ok, in fact there is some evidence sperm may help implantation. So then - our go ahead was just after the procedure.

Hi thank you for replying.

I too saw that information but we chose not to during the 2ww due to potential infections.

Thank you x

Oh congratulations lovely!!! So pleased to see this ❤️🥰❤️After my BFP I was petrified to have sex and my consultant said wait until after week 14… then I got a SCH so it’s off the cards again until the bleed stops!

But I think everyone will say something different. I’d check with your consultant xx

Hi hunnie!

Thank you so much 😊 we have never seen those lines before so was a bit shocked but we are happy. I’m an over thinker so am now a bit anxious for the scan but am trying to stay in the moment. I know from this supportive group that they don’t always stay.

I have contacted the clinic but with the weekend I haven’t heard anything yet probably will tomorrow. Congratulations to you too xx

It’s the most insane feeling isn’t it!! I’ve had so many negatives that I couldn’t bear to test at home this time… so just had bloods and a very teary phone call 😂But I did a home test at 8.5 weeks so I could actually see those lines and it still felt unreal and amazing! Enjoy every minute 🥰

This wait for the scan is hard, but just keep telling yourself that there is no reason for it to not be ok. You’ve got this xxx

It is completely unreal! Hubby cried and my dude don’t shed tears over anything!!! That’s how much it meant seeing those lines.

I’m a bit surprised as no one has mentioned a blood test yet guess this may come at some point.

I keep thinking it’s not real like it’s happened because of the medication. I think occasionally that when I stop

the medication it will just leave.

I’ve followed so many people on this forum that have had happy and then had sad. I just have to have hope that this will work like it had for others. Thank you so much for replying xxx

Aww that’s so sweet!

Don’t worry, not all clinics do blood tests, only a few…

My advice would be to stay off this forum until you’ve had your viability scan. I was the same and saw so many horror stories which put the fear of god in me, but all was fine.

It’s natural that we will be very worried as it’s been so tough to get here, so try not to read too many stories. Xxx

Thank you I will do just that!

I’m just going to try and take each day as it comes and remember that until I’m told otherwise we are in the position we are in 😊 xx
