I was just wondering how you were getting on? I'm still feeling sore after my egg collection on Weds, which is strange as I didn't feel anything after my first round. No idea what's normal though to be honest !

Hey RoseApothecary, I'm doing ok doing my best to stay positive for our little 3BC bean.🥰🥰 Was really sore after egg collection too end up getting thrush from antibiotics took a suppository 2 days before transfer, told clinic. They said it shouldn't be a problem. Had a nice bit of cramping the last few days , much better today. I hate the two week wait. 🙄 I've no patience at the best of time. You would think I'd be used to it by now 5th time lucky 🤞🤞 how are you doing. X

Yeah, we are trying to stay positive too! Although no reason not to be I guess 😊. I've been lounging around since weds (I had a day 2 transfer) but I'm just surprised about still feeling sore and wondering how a full week of work is going to go 🤦🏽‍♀️. But, it'll be a distraction so that's a good thing at least! Oh I hope it goes well for you, I'msure its 5th time lucky!! Wishing all the luck 😊 x

Well I will be thinking of ye. 😊When is your test day, ours is the 16th . I didn't test early last time but did the time before that. 😏 I'm back to work Tuesday and looking forward to the distraction to be honest. 😬 I'm wrecking my own head. Are you on progesterone injections or suppositories?Can I ask does your clinic check progesterone levels mine doesn't 🤔 its so strange how all clinic's do things differently. I did 3 sessions of acupuncture but to be honest I'm not planning to go back , going to start looking for a new acupuncturist. Xx

Hey, my test date is the 17th. The last time I actually tested a day later because it was a weekend and I didn't think I could deal with a negative and then work (it turned out to be positive that time but didn't last too long).

I asked my clinic about testing progesterone levels and they don't at all. I'm on the cyclogest pessaries and they didn't think I needed the injections this time round. Each clinic does seem to do things differently and then it's really confusing! They didn't seem interested when I asked for mine to be checked in the 2ww either 🤷🏽‍♀️

I did acupuncture too! I've had 2 sessions and she thought I was in good shape so I'll take that! Got another session on Tuesday and not sure what happens after that. I have no idea if it's helping but it just makes me feel like I'm doing something, and if there is a positive placebo effect then I don't mind! Xx

Its great to have people on here to chat too. 😊 I haven't told any family about our journey just my bestie im sure she doesn't get it . But she is amazing and had her own stuff going on. Xx

Also haven't told anyone at work. I'm not the greatest to talk.🙄

I think it's a really personal decision whether to share or not, and there's pros and cons to either way! We decided to tell people and my husband discovered one of his friends had gone through IVF to get their baby after we said! I've told people I see often as they'd know something was up with me not drinking 😂.

It is a bit lonely though as none of my friends have gone through it so theres no one to quickly ask a question to. So yeah, it's really nice to talk on here too 😊

Are you entitled to time off for IVF at your work? I told my boss as I was entitled for the first round, need to use annual leave for subsequent rounds, which is fine! X

I'm not the biggest drinker , very rarely but when I do I go a little overboard and pay for it for days 🙈I haven't told my bosses at work , my old boss believed every women should have kids , doesn't get that its not that easy for everyone and it everyones own choice we are all different. He asked me straight out one day 🙄 he isn't a bad person just a bit thick. 🤣🤣

I have used my annual leave for all appointments, I would be entitled to time off but I haven't said anything because I struggle to talk about it, were I work nothing ever seems private Xx

Well, if you don't trust that people can keep things confidential then it's understandable you wouldn't want to share your personal information at work! Sounds like you're doing the right thing for you, which is the most important thing 😊 Besides, it's really supportive on here so it's nice to read through, even if you don't always join in with the conversation I've found!

Always stressful the first day back! My day was ok, had my acupuncture session and there's a pressure point called Guest in the House, I loved that 🥰 I heard back from the clinic and they think the pain I'm experiencing is just a bruised ovary. I hope that goes very soon!

When I had my last IVF round I literally had no symptoms. At. All. And the pregnancy test was positive so not looking out for any signs this time. Nothing we can do other than wait ! 😳
