Hello, ive never had pain in the nipple prior to having my period. Its been 3-4 days that I have been feeling pain in my nipples. Have to sleep with my stomach up. The pain feels like its stretching, and the nipples get really hard and very pinful.. any tips? Does this usually happen while taking metformin and BC together?

Hi Kakakalo. Why do you need to take metformin? Not sure what BC is either. Can you please enlighten us? Diane
Currently taking metformin for PCOS. I have not gotten my period since dec 2020, therefore on metformin to help with PCOS, (insulin resistance) and taking BC (birth control) as well.
Hi Kakakalo, So you're not trying to get pregnant just now then? Metformin can be combined with fertility treatment, so if you do want to try for a baby, speak to your GP for a referral or your specialist. Diane
