Well here we are - official test day and a beautiful strong BFP! I have actually known for a couple of days now, tested on 12dp3dt and was in absolute shock to see 2 lines come up.
It still doesn’t seem real, after 2.5 years and 3 cycles of IVF, very low AMH and significant sperm issues we have finally achieved a pregnancy. I am over the moon and filled with happiness.
I’m well aware that anything can happen and need to remain cautious and we have a long way to go but for now I am pregnant, with 1 or 2 little beans!
Im also very aware that some of you lovely ladies have not had the result you so desperately want, and that makes me sad. I am hopeful that 2021 will be your year. Never give up 💫 x

Huge congratulations, best present ever! I’ve also got (very) low AMH and currently 10dpet of my first cycle. Two eggs retrieved, both fertilised and transferred on day 2. Hearing about your BFP has given me hope if not for this cycle then the future. Thank you for sharing Xxx

Thank you! Fingers crossed. I thought our situations sounded similar too. I was interested to read that you responded better to the long protocol in terms of eggs and have wondered if my clinic might try that next time (if needed).
Do you mind me asking what if any supplements you’re on please? I asked about DHEA before this round but the nurse said that they hadn’t included it in my treatment plan because of my age (32). My thinking is that it won’t do any harm and if it does improve quality then that’s a bonus! I’ve just been taking folic acid, vitamin D and coenzyme Q10 this time. They told me to stop taking coenzyme Q10 when I started stims. Hope you are feeling okay and time goes quick for your scan Xx
Of course, happy to help if I can! I was on DHEA for many months, the last 3 months before my ivf cycle properly started I upped the dose to 75mg daily. I also took Ubiquinol 400-600mg daily, and Royal Jelly which is meant to help with egg quality. I made myself drink a green juice daily with kale, spinach, spirulina, flaxseed and protein powder (doesn’t taste good but at that point I was willing to try anything!) Who knows what worked in the end, but I am personally an advocate for DHEA as it did increase my AMH level. One thing I’ve realised through all of this is we have to be an advocate for ourselves, doctors and fertility specialists don’t have all the answers. My chances were very very low and now I’m pregnant!
Please don’t lose hope, it’s just a matter of time 😊 x

Oh I know - it is so up and down! Wanting to feel really happy - as I am so, so excited to get here - but some days I don’t really “feel” pregnant 🙈😂 So doubt myself and the test 🥰 but just trying to stay positive and hope the scan will be ok 🤞🤞🥰 Good luck for your scan too, hopefully all will be well!
Yea that’s exactly how I feel! Nausea seems to have disappeared today, so of course the mind starts to wander. It’s such an emotional rollercoaster and doesn’t stop once you see the BFP! Long journey ahead. good luck to you as well! x

Ahh that’s not too long to wait, although I know how time can feel like it’s standing still during these times! My clinic booked me in for 19th Jan but I have booked myself for an early private scan for 2 weeks time as I don’t think I can wait that long! So nervous. How many weeks will you be at your scan? x
They told me I will be 7 weeks on 5 jan on my scan day. But we booked with GP beta test on 30 dec ...just wish to do that now but they don’t have any appointments before that 😔

Ahh that’s a good idea to book a Beta test, just for reassurance whilst you wait for your scan. Maybe I’ll do the same! I will be 7 weeks at the private scan I booked. I’m dying to find out out what’s going on in there! Hate the waiting x
I’m counting the days till my beta test and specially till first scan. I hope my hubby can go in with me 🙏
I’m more scared this time then I was with my little one ...I’m 40 and we had to many losses in one year ...so very scary this time around . The waiting time is the worst I hope all goes well for us hun 🤞🤞🙏🙏xx
