Hi Farine. Unfortunately this can take quite a few months as it is a more invasive procedure. See what your clinic can suggest or the HFEA hfea.gov.uk Good luck! Diane
I don't know about the NHS but with my private clinic its up to a year for fresh donors at the moment but much shorter for frozen ones x
Hi, we were offered some frozen eggs after a few months, but we waited for a fresh donor cycle as we were more comfortable with the compatability. It was around 12 months, which sounds like a long time but a couple of those months were to sync us etc so it went quite quick.
Ah that’s great, thank you that really puts me at ease. We were told by the nurse today it could take up to 2 years on a waiting list which I thought was quite a long time to wait and I’m not sure whether they find a suitable donor during this waiting period or after. Im 36 with low amh no follicles. 2 unsuccessful cycles. Quite stressful but I’m sure others have it worse. Hopefully it won’t be too long a wait.
Hi I donated twice first time they got a little girl on there 1st cycle and the second couple got twin girls on their 1st cycle!!! So good luck hunni there’s so so much hope❤️
We went abroad told them to look for a donor in the jan , donor found by end of feb did cycle end of March with a mid April transfer - if you can afford to go abroad then I would suggest it they have so many donors readily available it doesn’t take long at all.
I’m happy to PM you the name of the clinic we used if you wanna have a look.
