I just wanted to ask if anyone has had 3 BFN from ICSI, not even trying to implant and gone on to have a successful pregnancy? I feel like I’m losing all hope of it ever happening, I’ve never seen those 2 lines 💔.
My clinic don’t do any of the extra tests I see people talking about on here and it’s the only one in my area, I don’t know whether to look abroad.
I’m 40 and have pcos and my partner has low everything sperm wise. I’ve had one 3dt and two 5dt and a blastocyst that didn’t survive the thaw. I’ve nothing to freeze from this cycle and the thought of starting again from scratch fills me with dread. Feeling so low, is there any hope for me?? Xx

I dont have a good story to share (yet) as i have also had 3 failed transfers from ICSI (plus 1 that did implant but then mmc).
I definately think you should maybe look for another clinic either here or abroad that is willing to offer you more testing? As 3 BFN from ivf/icsi is now becoming looked upon as 'recurrent implantation failure'. From nhs aswell as initial testing prior to ivf after the mc and failures we were offered extra blood testing and then chose to pay for ERA/Alice/ Emma testing. Just a few things for you to think about/ read up on. Hope this helps a little Xx
I'm in the same boat. 3 failed FET had era/emma/Alice and now on Clexane blood thinners. I'd honestly say if your clinic isnt helping look elsewhere. We are in the 4th 2ww at the moment so I can't give success stories yet but I can say my clinic have done something more with every failure we've had. If yours isn't then look Elsewhere x
Hi, just to say if you look up Professor Quenby in Coventry she (or one of her team) does a clinic that looks at implantation failure and you can self refer. I can’t remember the cost but if you contact them someone will call you and talk it through. I can’t remember if they just look at NK cells or other issues as well but worth an ask? Wishing you lots of luck xx
We had several BFN's and that was after moving to DE to improve our success rates - we made the move after getting only a few blastocysts from my OE. I have eventually discovered that my implantation window is out by a full 24 hours compared to "normal" ladies which isn't that common but its something to be considered after putting back sever good quality embyros - I had the ERA/ALICE/EMMA test which confirmed this. I had to go to London to have this done but I think it was worh it. So yes, I do think there is hope out there!!xx
Not its not but its done similar to a scratch. Its a biopsy that you prepare your lining for transfer and instead of transfer they take a piece of tissue and send it to the lab and they can determine whether the endometrium is receptive or not and when the receptive window will be.xx
I’m sorry you didn’t receive the news you wanted. I just had a failed fresh cycle ( my 1st). Reading through different experiences on this it does seem there is hope at the end of the tunnel. Stay strong x
I’m sorry you are going through this too. I just read some of your posts, I’m a school nursery nurse. I understand how hard it can be going through this whilst working with young children. I’m having a few days off at the moment while I try get my head round this failed transfer and work out what we do next. I hope you are doing ok xx
Take time to heal and put yourself first I was reluctant in getting the gp to sign Me off but i realised the children will be there when I return but I need to be in the right state to return. If you need to chat I’m always here. X
I had 3 BFNs with ICSI...and on 4th transfer with IMSI and intralipids infusion for high NK cells am just over 33 weeks pregnant with my little boy lots of lifestyle changes...yoga acupuncture facials...less stress...as time out from work...eating little healthier with more protein...taking more supplements recommended from It starts with the egg by Rebecca Fett...and other changes implemented from this book. Hubby did similar things and lost loads of weight as male factor infertility was our challenge. We were at the Lister and hubby also saw Jonathan Ramsay a urologist recommended by Lister. Pls don't lose hope...have faith...i prayed for the first time in years...Good Luck xxx
