Update : bleeding has stopped!

You are all amazing. Thank you for your rally of support, kind and reassuring words yesterday. My bleeding has ceased even though I still have abdominal discomfort. I was so terrified but apparently bleeding is very common in early pregnancy.... who knew??!!! Every day is a school day on this journey. I’m still resting up and hoping it was just a blip. THANK YOU!

I read bleeding is common in twin pregnancies. But it's good it has stopped now.

Hi jengi. That's fabulous news to end my working week on. To start off with in pregnancy, baby doesn't have a placenta, it is supported by a chorionic villi. When it changes into a placenta, it is not uncommon to have a bleed, so perhaps that is what it was. Still, just carry on having a rest when you can and hopefully all will continue as it should.
