I am waiting to hear from the clinic about what's next .. which is iver IUI or IVF ... I am a nervous Nelly when I dont know whats going to happen .. so was wondering if you could tell me what your experience...
I've finished my rounds of clomid and my problem is I dont ovulate .. good news is my husband as a good healthy sperm count so I am not too sure if we will be able to go for IUI ..
Anyone else gone down this path xx

I had 6 IUI (3 natural and 3 medicated) prior to IVF but I do ovulate every month. Perhaps the medicated one would be an option for you as it grows your eggs and then triggers ovulation? Then they just put the sperm in at the right time none of the IUIs worked for me but I do know people where it did work xx
If the problem is just ovulation, IUI can work nicely! It can be medicated and ovulation is triggered by injection. The chances are a bit lower than IVF but it is cheaper and a bit more gentle. If you have PCOS though and this causes the problem with ovulation, you might be better off with IVF. It is really difficult to get just one or two folicles responding with PCOS and 2/3 IUIs had to be cancelled for me. I wish I had done IVF from the start but it really depends on your situation.
