Follow the advice of your clinic . They will have information . Check their website . A whole lot of us might find ourselves in that position in the coming days .
I cant comment on Covid-19 specifically but I had a really heavy cold on one of the transfers and it was the one that progressed the best.....did lose it at 6wks due to low progesterone which we didnt know at the time and since discovered. Best of luck.xx
Thanks so much! Sorry for your losses too. That's if we ever get to use them....Im having treatment in Greece so hoping they dont stop us flying!! Bloody Covid-19!!xx
I was on progesterone pessaries but the amount I was given wasnt enough for me and suspect this caused my loss. We had to up the dose of progesterone for future transfers after checking my bloods on day of transfer.xx
I’ve seen some articles on FB with advise for people who are pregnant so maybe worth googling those - think they were from the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. But like others have said your clinic should know x
So glad you're in the final phases and have transfer tomorrow and can be home soon. I really feel for the ladies who are in limbo right now not knowing what will be in the coming weeks as to whether they can start treatment or not. Your risks to coronavirus should be low with being in a clinic and then only flying home, but can understand your concern. Lots of people do get ill during pregnancy (of course), but I have no advice on whether this impacts the embryo (I assume not as you're supposed to have a lowered immune system during pregnancy anyway) or on coronavirus specifically. Lots of love xxxx
I’m so sorry ☹️ Can imagine how gutted you must be feeling. We’ve just been saying now that if we had to fly out here a week later then it would of been cancelled.
We’re due to fly back from Prague this evening so not sure if we’re going to have any problems.
Your not being insensitive at all,we have all faced knock backs throughout this journey. Hopefully your able to relax over the next couple of weeks. Wishing you all the very best xx
Hey, I think there’s not much data for pregnancy - I read a virus can’t be transferred, the main issue is if the mother gets poorly it can affect her health. The IVF army probably do a good job of keeping ourselves as healthy as possible so fingers crossed it will all help x
Yay! Reassuring to know I have a cycle buddy! Just hoping the clinic is still open in a few weeks as I am sure cases will spike soon. At least the clinic will be quieter and we get more exclusive treatment? Silver lining?! xx
I went abroad for my treatment 4 times since Covid appeared last year so I would not worry, just be very careful and you will be ok x I wish you the best of luck for your transfer and for your return journey 🍀
