Is there under any circumstances you could get a beta HCG 2 days after sex?

Hello

It's impossible for an embryo to secrete hcg after 2 days as it's only a few cells. It would take at least 10-20 days after fertilization and implantation for the placenta to secrete any HCG xxx

I had a miscarriage on 16th Jan.. This was confirmed by ultrasound and negative pregnancy tests.

the last 2 times we had intercourse on the 30th January and then on the 20th February. I had what I thought was a period on.14,15,16th February.. (I had had a negative pregnancy test on the 12th ?

HCG bloods as follows;

482 @1500hrs 22nd Feb 2 days after sex

725 @ 1415 hours 24th Feb 4 days after sex

1005 @ 1415 hours 26th Feb 6 days after sex

1738 @ 1430 hours 28th Feb 8 days after sex

Transvaginal ultrasound on 28th showing 4.4mm gestational sac. (8 days after sex)

Yes i am. So it definately couldn't be from 20th February intercourse?? Even if I'd fertilised and implanted straight away?

Hi. Don't know what to say, unless your miscarriage was a twin pregnancy?? Although you had a scan to confirm the miscarriage. Just going to have to wait and se I'm afraid. Thinking of you. Diane
