I had my first appointment with my clinic today. Had a baseline scan and blood taken to check my AMH levels. Turned out im just about to ovulate which is a rare thing with me. I wonder should we have protected intercourse or just as usual. I have doctors and nurses appointment on the 6th of next month. Back home prior to starting ivf couples are advised to have protected sex. So just wondering what do you all think.

We our just stating our second cycle and we’ve been told only protected sex from now!! Xx
They didn't tell me anything and i forgot to ask... so protected to be 😍 good luck with your second cycle hopefully you will get your Christmas present earlier this year hihi xxxx

I'd go for it! As long as you're not doing a long protocol you'd be starting after your period anyway (hoping it will not show up!)

That's true but on the other hand it was so hard to get where we are now and get the nhs funding 🙈 xxx
If you havent started on any meds yet I dont see any reason not to go for it!xx
The only thing is that we got the nhs funding and took us quite a while to get where we are now and we are funded for 2 fresh and 2 frozen... 🙈🙈🙈🙈🙈
Even still, if there's a chance you can conceive naturally I'd take it over IVF any day!xx
