I seriously cannot believe it. The embryologist said 2 were top quality and 1 medium quality but all 3 are able to be frozen. My clinic only does frozen transfers. Any tips on a frozen transfer!??

Hi!! Congratulations!! 3 are great, I had the same 2 great quality and one average!! I am currently in the 2ww with the first transfer and keeping my fingers crossed!! Frozen cycle they called me for a scan on the 2nd day of your new cycle and give me medication for a good lining and then just insert the embryo 2 weeks later which is mostly a painless process... if it works or not I will let you know in 5 days!! Good luck to you!!!

Hi shil11 sorry to jump in your band wagon but I see that you had frozen embryos transfer. I had egg collection a few days ago and they collected 3 mature eggs and all are currently being grown to 5 days (fingers crossed) then will be frozen.

How long or what was the process for transfer from frozen? Drugs / timeline etc.

Thanks in advance and fingers crossed 🤞 for your 2ww xx

Hi!! After the egg collection that was it for that cycle. The following cycle first day of period I went for a scan to check my lining they put me on estrogen tablets and asked me to come back in 2 weeks I.e 5 days before transfer At this point they scanned again and my lining was 10.1 mm so they started me on progesterone suppository, corticosteroid tables, progesterone tablets and anticoagulant injections which I will continue till the pregnancy test and if positive might be longer! I started the IVF on the 24th June and will test on 28th August so exactly 2 months! Although with frozen transfer you can choose to wait longer if you like. Feel free to let me know if you have any further questions I am happy to share my notes..
