We resisted testing until OTD, albeit we caved in at 4:50am this morning!!
I’m so happy and so relieved and so excited!! But trying to moderate my happiness and excitement as I know there’s still a long way to go. I think I’ll allow myself to be happy and excited for today!
Feeling very blessed that one (or maybe two!) of our early blastocysts made a happy home.
Sending lots of love to everyone else going through this journey. 🙏 💕

Huge congratulations. You be happy and enjoy your excitement for as long as possible, sure you’ve got a great pregnancy road ahead of you. Stay positive! xxx
Thank you. I’ll be thinking of you over the next few days for your test day. Keeping everything crossed for us both - and 🙏 that we can continue to be cycle buddies! Xxx
It really is a wonderful feeling. Being the worrying, control freak I am, I immediately started questioning whether I should be 1-2 or 2-3 weeks! I just need to relax and enjoy getting over this hurdle today and then deal with the next ones as they come. What a journey it is! Sending love to you xx
We are really delighted; I think my husband and I were in shock to begin with. Yes, it’s our first cycle so I feel very lucky to have got this far. We had to have ICSI because our difficulty is a severely low sperm count. I am still nervous about everything else we need to get through - scans, hormone levels etc - but we are very lucky and grateful. Are you currently on a cycle? Xx
O I’m sorry to hear that you’ve got OHSS - lots of water, as I’m sure you’ve been told a zillion times. I also read that coconut water is good for that too. Take care of yourself and definitely give your body time to get better - I made the mistake of going back to work a couple of days after EC which was definitely too soon so decided to take the rest of the week off. Wishing you well very soon 💕 xx
Thank you. I am, hoping Monday to be last day of stimms and get egg collection booked in for next week. Be nice to be injection free for a bit. Enjoy your BFP lovely and Sunday rally am pleased for you. I love a happy ending xxx
Yes, I saw egg collection and the end of injections as a big landmark. I will be thinking of you and sending lots of good luck vibes in your direction for the next few days. Have a lovely relaxed day too xxx
Thank you so much. Heaps of congrats on your lovely news too! I just read that you found out about your husband’s SA in Jan 2018 - we found out the same at a similar time. It can be such a difficult journey. Hoping that it is smooth and happy for us both from here on xxx
Thank you - still seems like such a long way to go, but looking back at the past few months makes me realise that we’ve actually come a huge distance too. Thank you again xxx
Thank you 😊! Yes, that’s how they confirm your pregnancy at my clinic and they give you a chart to advise you on the HCG levels. We have an early scan Thursday which will be the first time I’ll have made it to a scan if we get there ok 🙏. Do you have to requests a blood test at your clinic? Xx
I’m actually not sure what the situation is re blood tests at my clinic. I’ve noticed that they tend not to give you much info about future stages until you get to that point. I emailed them yesterday and will probably call them later today to see what I need to do now. How many weeks pregnant will you be at your early scan? Xxx
That’s a bit rubbish that they haven’t gone through the next stages with you yet. I’d definitely chase them up. It’ll be our 6 week scan. They wanted to do an early one just to check all is ok and where it should be due to the 3 ectopics I’ve had before 🤞 Xx
Ah, ok - I’m sorry that you’ve had such a difficult time before. Best of luck for Thursday - not long to go!! I’ve now got my scan booked for 11 Sept which feels like forever away. So anxious already but trying to stay positive. Keeping everything crossed and thinking of you for Thursday xxx
Thank 🤞That’s great you’ve got your scan date 😊. I wish there was something to do to make the time pass quicker, as does seems to take forever to come around waiting for scans etc. If only we were one of these lucky people that could fall pregnant and not even realise, only to find out your 3 months or more gone without all the worry! X
Thank you. Despite all of my efforts to remain calm, I am really happy. Best of luck for you in the next few days and for test day - what day have you been told to test? Xx
I’ve been told to test on Friday (11dp5dt), am currently 7dp5dt. I wish I knew now - I can’t wait to find out either way. I’m having quite regular cramping since transfer which I’m hoping is a good thing (but aware this could be the progesterone!), and DH keeps looking at my boobs (he’s convinced they look bigger!) but we won’t know till Friday - I so hope we can celebrate too!! 🙏😘😘 xx
Yes I had some cramps on 3dp5dt and then on 6dp and 7dp (around when my period would have been due so I was freaking out a bit). Had little twinges and things since too. Like you, I told myself that they were symptoms of the progesterone, though it does seem from posts on here that a bit of cramping and twinges is a good thing. Ha, I bet your husband is enjoying his role of checking whether your boobs have grown! My poor husband has been batted away if he tries to go near anywhere other than my hands for the most part of this cycle - poor thing! I will be thinking of you on Friday and sending lots of good luck vibes 🙏💕 xxx
Ha, no, the bloating and spots and taking pessaries haven’t made me feel my most attractive! But if everything goes smoothly for us, it will be a very small price to pay for a super special reward! Keep me posted on Friday! 😘 💕😘
Thank you so much. I hope that everything is continuing to go smoothly for you! I enjoy all of your updates as they are what I have been working towards xxx
