Hi I'm 25 and recently been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia (fibro). My husband is 32 and we have been ttc for the last 5 years. I'm currently on clomid again with regular internal and external scans and have had hsg and copius blood tests.
Today I came on again after giving myself that little bit of hope we all push and lock away somewhere deep down. Needless to say I'm gutted but had a phone call from the specialist stating they'd accidentally put me on double the amount of clomid that I should actually be on! This means I over ovulated this month which I can honestly say I'm sort of glad I know now as this is the worst month of my life with everything going on. Dealing with fibro is difficult to say the least. I rarely get more than a couple hours of sleep at best and have to sleep with pillows inbetween everything so that no part of my body touches any other part of my body and causes pressure pain. It also affects my short term memory so I forget things really easily especially if I get upset or am tired.
They only offer one set of medication for fibromyalgia at the present time (or so the specialist informed me), which if taken over a long period of time (I'm 25 and this is a life long illness) actually causes infertility in women so I won't be taking that.
Ttc is actually painful. Not the act in itself but after its agony as the bones and muscles are screaming in pain (I'm no bed acrobat either 😂).
I'm looking for people who also have fibromyalgia and anyone other people who have beven ttc for a long time x
