We had a private scan today and found out we’re having a baby boy 💙 we’re over the moon!
Very healthy and wriggly, would not stay still! It’s no wonder I’m so sick 😂

I’m waiting for the NHS one probably though it’s possible it will show on the fetal cardiac scan next week. We have to have that because of the high nuchal measurement of one of the twins. We’re also waiting for NIPT result so it’s a bit nerve wracking at the mo (consultant recommended it though our combined test came back low risk). Can’t wait to find out their sexes. Sorry you’re not feeling much better. I’m mostly ok now but still some nausea in the evenings, when I’m tired mostly. And my back is pretty sore from only sleeping on one side or the other. But not complaining. Hoping the new big v pillow will make a difference. Wishing you all the best for the rest of your pregnancy xxxx
Hope all goes well with your scan next week. I’m sure they’ll be able to tell sexes then which will be lovely 🙂

When do you plan to have your scan? We are just 3-4 days apart, I've had mine too privately and am expecting a b/g. 💥💥💥
Congratulations! I’ve got a couple scans coming up - 20 week scan at end of Jan and a fetal cardiac scan next week because of the high nuchal fluid measurement we had. Perhaps they’ll be able to see then. If not we’ll wait til end Jan. Where are you based Rubinaa? I’m in East London. X

I don't feel good at all I'm sick every day can only eat cereal drink about 4 pints of milk a day and have really bad reflux .
It will so be worth it but it's tough I really wanted to enjoy it as Well xxxx
I’m the same the sickness just won’t go, I have occasional days where it’s fine but then it hits bad again and I can’t eat anything without vomiting 😖 I’m so worried because I can’t gain weight but hoping I will start to soon.
I know, I really wanted to be one of those people who just had the most amazing pregnancy, mainly because people who complained really annoyed me! I do get it now though - it’s tough but as you say it’ll be so worth it! I think we can appreciate more with what we’ve been through, we do feel guilty about feeling rubbish where as other people just complain without a thought for anyone else xxx

Thank you so much. We had no preference at all (I think after IVF most of us lose the preference and just want a healthy baby!) but we both really thought a girl, don’t know why. Was a lovely surprise when it was boy though 💙 how are you keeping? Xxx
You’re so right, I don’t have a preference either way really. I’m doing great, easing off the steroids now and had a private scan this morning measuring 12+2 😍 starting to think this actually happening now.... xxx

Apart from suffering from morning sickness I’m doing well. Got my 12 weeks scan on the 17th of January. Will be dead on 12 weeks when I have the scan xxx

Congratulations! We’ve found out at our 20 week scan a couple of days ago that we’re having a boy too 💙
Just shows that the old wives tales about girls making you more sick are not true! Although nowhere near as bad as your sickness, I was constantly nauseous right up to about 16 weeks.

Your so right, all symptoms I had pointed to a girl, the only thing I had which suggested a boy was excessive saliva production but just shows you it just really is down to the individual pregnancy and symptoms don’t really mean anything! Xxx
