Day 11 stimming....

Hi everyone, starting to feel like Groundhog Day! My follicles don’t seems to be growing on the new medication..... on day 11 of stimming, got to go back on Monday for scan number 5!!!!! Hoping for EC on Wednesday... surely you can’t stim longer than 2 weeks. Have even ran out of medication and have got to get more x

SNAP!! I was originally scheduled for EC yesterday but have now got scan 5 on Monday too and had to spend another £540 on meds yesterday as I was completely out spent over £2k on meds alone now. It’s so frustrating and disappointing, not to mention expensive! But we just need to trust in the professionals and hope we’ll catch up. Try and stay positive and good luck for Monday. I stimulated for 9 days but on day 5 when I saw that follicles were not growing I feed them with a lot protein I made a mixture of eggs milk and honey and take 3/4 Or less 3 times a day. They started growing rapidly 4 days later they were retrieved.

I'm now waiting for a pregnacy test on friday the the 24.

I looks like it helped me a lot because I started taking that mixture the doctor was thinking of cancelling the the cycle and start on a stronger meds but he said I should try 2 more days and I went back he saw a big change.

I ended up stimming for 16 days, as I was a slow responder at start but they told me not to worry about the length of time as long as they were growing....we managed to then get 10 eggs!! So I know it feels like Groundhog Day right now but try and trust the process...easier said I know!!Wishing you the best of luck!! 🤞🏻xx

Am getting the menupor in individual ampules!! Felt so stupid having to get the nurse to explain how to use them.... another hurdle to get over later on xx

That’s what mine was in on both rounds, and I felt very silly asking for a recap of drug training on my second round but it’s very tricky!!!

It’s like the pregnyl..., just when you think you have got something sorted it changes!! You just don’t want to get it wrong do you, as if having to inject isn’t hard enough without the mental torture of thinking are my follicles growing, am I going to bleed again etc and then add the physical symptoms!!! And now as I sit waiting at the hospital in Costa a new born baby comes in 😩😥get me out of here xx

I'm the same none of my follicles are at right size so more drugs and back on Monday for another scan , fingers crossed for us both on Monday for lots of follicles at the right size xx

I had 12 but they range in sizes from 8 to 12 and they need to be 18 😒.

How many have you got?

To top it all my husband has text his sister telling her all the detail, and stating" not good result" grrrrrr really want to punch him in face x

Only have 7 ranging from 12.5 to 18 😥 other half has just said how well he has done not drinking for 9 weeks!!! Erm try injecting then talk about who has done well!!! Men are rubbish at times aren’t they xx

7 is a good number, ours just need only final push to get to the right size 😉.

Ooh they just have no idea do they , I'm sure there should be a rule that for every injection we have to do they have one as well 🤣

I completely agree!!! Got moaned at earlier too as found it hard to lift the shopping back, really pulled on my tummy so asked him to do it!! 🤣
